This Privacy Notice details certain policies implemented throughout SharkScope governing SharkScope’s collection and use of personal data about users of our Site.

Privacy Notice Updates

Sharkscope may need to update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If so, SharkScope will post our updated Privacy Notice on our Site, along with notice that the Privacy Notice has been changed so you are always aware of what personal data we may collect and how we may use this information. SharkScope may also send users a notification notifying such users of any changes to the Privacy Notice. SharkScope encourages you to review this Privacy Notice regularly for any changes. Information Collection and Use

You may generally browse our Site without providing us with any personal data.

We collect publicly available online poker tournament results displayed in poker clients and we aggregate and display the poker results on the Site. The information that we display is strictly limited to the poker username, the country of origin of the account (if that is displayed publicly) and results of the poker games in which you participated. Other information about the poker tournament displayed may include when the game occurred, the cost of entry, the name of the tournament, the type of poker played and the amount of prize money won. We have no access to any additional information which may be used to link that data to you or any natural persons unless you choose to supply that information to us directly.

If you register for an account to purchase any subscriptions on our Site, you may be required to provide us with your name, address, email and credit card or payment information.

If you contact us with questions or to request information, we will collect any additional personal data that you voluntarily transmit with your communications to us.

Sharkscope recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. The Site are not directed to children under the age of 13. Sharkscope does not target its Site to children under 13. Sharkscope does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 provided us with personal data, we will delete that information. We retain personal data for as long as we have a legitimate need to retain it. We will endeavor to destroy your information when we no longer have a legitimate business need to use it, except for backups that are archived and retained in the ordinary course of business.

In certain circumstances, subject to the requirements of applicable laws, such as if you are resident in the European Union and as required under the General Data Protection Regulation, you can access, change or delete your personal data.

European Union / Swiss Users and Privacy Shield

Information you provide may be transferred or accessed by entities around the world as described in this Privacy Notice. Sharkscope participates in and has certified its compliance with both the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, respectively. Sharkscope is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries and Switzerland, in reliance on the Privacy Shield Frameworks, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this Privacy Notice and the Privacy Shield Frameworks, the Privacy Shield Frameworks shall govern. Dispute Resolution under Privacy Shield

In compliance with the Privacy Shield, Sharkscope is committed to resolve complaints about privacy and the collection or use of personal information. Sharkscope will investigate and attempt to resolve disputes regarding use and disclosure of your personal information within 45 days in accordance with the principles contained in our Privacy Notice.

Sharkscope has enrolled with JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the US with offices in Massachusetts (One Beacon Street, Suite 2210, Boston, MA 02108) to assist with the complaint resolution process. JAMS is Sharkscope’s only means of resolving disputes under Privacy Shield; all complaints submitted to JAMS shall be resolved via arbitration. Should you feel that Sharkscope has not resolved to your satisfaction any inquiry regarding use of personal information under Privacy Shield, you can submit a complaint to JAMS through this page: https://www.jamsadr.com/eu-us-privacy-shield.

Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website, you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.
