The Sharkscope Affiliate Program allows you to earn commission by promoting Sharkscope through your website and channels when new users who you have referred then go on to purchase Sharkcope subscription(s).

Any businesses (who own and operate their own websites) or individuals can join as long as they have a website or can demonstrate they reach an audience with interest in online poker, then they’re likely to succeed. Of course, they will also need to abide by the Sharkscope Affiliate program Terms and Conditions.

You earn a percentage of the revenue you bring in, except on Pro plans and reseller packages, which earn no commission. Commission rates are based on the number of sales you make each month and reset at the beginning of each month. Each successful renewal of a recurring subscription also counts as a sale for that month.

Note: Commission rates apply to both one-time and recurring purchases. Your commission rate resets each month based on your total sales volume in that month.

Yes. From the Bonus Codes tab in your dashboard you can create your own discount code (up to your current commission rate) and embed it in your referral link. The referred customer gets the discount at checkout and you earn the difference between your commission rate and the discount.

For example, with a 20% commission rate and a 10% discount code, the customer pays 10% less and you still earn 10% commission on the sale. Your commission on any single sale is floored at zero and will not go negative.

Alternatively, you can offer a flat +10% bonus searches reward, which is provided at Sharkscope’s expense and does not reduce your commission.

Yes. Each successful recurring payment counts as a sale in that month and applies to the commission tiering.

As a Sharkscope Affiliate, you will have access to our Affiliate analytics tools where you will be able to see your balance accrue in realtime, and choose to make payments when you like, subject to a minimum payment of $100.

Sharkscope will not apply any processing fees, but the payment provider may.

As a Sharkscope Affiliate you are given access to our Affiliate Self-Service Portal which will allow you to generate dedicated URLs for you to place on your website.

We ask that you only use our links and banners as they are, please do not create your own or amend ours. You may refer to these links and encourage users to consider interest in Sharkscope. However, make sure you understand our Terms and Conditions as a breach of these may result in immediate termination of our agreement with you as an Affiliate.

As a Sharkscope Affiliate you are given access to our Affiliate Self-Service Portal which provides tools and approved marketing materials for you to use.

We use client-side cookies to track a user from your site to ours. When a user clicks our link on your site we are told which Affiliate referred the user and store that information on the client’s machine as a cookie. When the user then registers we create an association between that user and you as an Affiliate. If and when that user later makes a purchase, we then look to see if there is an Affiliate associated and attribute the revenue accordingly.

If this happens, we are unlikely to be able to track that user, unfortunately.

Yes, you may track all your data in the Affiliate Self-Service Portal

You must adhere to our Terms and Conditions and guidelines otherwise we may terminate your account.

We may be able to consider changing the commission structure after joining but this will be done in consultation with our support team.

We may terminate your account at our discretion.

You may have multiple accounts but the email address and website URL must be unique.

As stated in our Terms and Conditions you may not register domain names with Sharkscope or similar terms.

If you suspect fraudulent activity, we would encourage you contact us immediately providing as much detail as possible.

We use one format: the Leaderboard (728x90), shown in a bar at the bottom of the screen on the Player Statistics, Tournaments and Leaderboards pages. We accept JPG, PNG and GIF (animated) images up to 2MB, MP4 videos up to 5MB, and script ads (JavaScript or HTML snippets).

Yes. We only accept advertising for products and services that comply with the terms and conditions of the relevant poker sites. Campaigns promoting products or services that conflict with a poker site’s rules or policies will not be approved.

Yes! Our advertising platform allows for geo-targeting. You can choose to show your ads globally or restrict them to specific countries. Pricing is adjusted based on the traffic share of your selected regions.

The minimum budget for an advertising campaign is $200. Our base rate for a global campaign is $1,100 per month. However, this can vary based on targeting and duration. We offer discounts for 3-month and 12-month commitments.

No, resellers are strictly prohibited from selling SharkScope subscriptions below our standard published prices.

Your discount rate is permanently locked to the highest discount tier you have ever achieved. For example, if you make a purchase that qualifies for a 20% discount, you will retain that 20% discount for all future purchases, even for smaller amounts that would normally carry a lower discount. If you later make a purchase that qualifies for a higher tier, your rate will upgrade to that new level.

Yes, once you have sold over $2,000 of sales to other accounts.

To access the API, you need a Pro subscription. You must use an approved application name and license key. Automated tools scraping the website are strictly prohibited; you must use the API.

The API provides programmatic access to all data and features available on the SharkScope website. Additionally, it includes specialized resources optimized for efficient bulk data retrieval.

Yes. If you retrieve player data via the API, any cached copy must expire within 7 days. Additionally, you are required to check the player’s profile daily to confirm if they have opted out. If an opt-out is detected, all associated player data must be deleted immediately.

It depends on how the data reaches you. Anything you obtain through individual searches, where your search allowance is charged, is yours to use — including Registering Tournament data. Reports that supply completed data in bulk are different: the Daily Scheduled Tournament Report, and the market volume, player volume, jackpot and overlay reports supplied to Analytics Dashboard and enterprise customers, are licensed for use inside your own organization only and may not be redistributed, resold, or republished. You are welcome to publish aggregate figures and analysis drawn from them, provided the underlying tournament-level data cannot be reconstructed from what you publish and SharkScope is credited as the source. If you need something beyond that, ask us at support@sharkscope.com.

API usage consumes searches from your subscription quota. Different API resources have different costs (e.g., retrieving a player search costs 1 search). Please refer to the documentation for specific resource costs.

The SharkScope AI Connector uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Windsurf connect directly to SharkScope. This lets the assistant look up players, tournaments, leaderboards, and other available data for you as part of your prompts and workflows. It is available to Pro and Enterprise accounts only.

For most desktop and browser-based AI apps, add the SharkScope MCP server URL https://www.sharkscope.com/mcp in the app’s MCP or integrations settings, then sign in with your SharkScope account in the browser when prompted.

The MCP server URL is https://www.sharkscope.com/mcp. If your integration supports browser sign-in, that URL is usually all you need. For server-to-server or API integrations, sign in to the Partner Portal and go to Settings > MCP Credentials to create a credential and save your Client ID and Client Secret. The AI Connector and MCP credentials are available to Pro and Enterprise accounts only.

Yes. When the AI Connector performs SharkScope searches on your behalf, those searches are deducted from your plan quota just like if you ran the searches yourself.
